We caught the Easter Bunny!

What a busy Easter weekend!
We kicked off Friday night with a little Easter egg dyeing session, it always goes so fast.
I usually make a dozen eggs for each kid and then they always want more. But who needs more than 2 dozen hard boiled eggs. I have this idea every year and sometime I am going to see it in the store and be really mad that I didn't do it. I think someone needs to come up with dye able eggs that are not perishable. Like ceramic eggs or something. I don't know I am just the "idea girl" someone else needs to be the "make it happen girl or guy"
Saturday we joined Grandma Martha and Grandpa Rich out at their farm and took a hayride up to Rich's mom's house to join our first Brueggemann Easter. It was a beautiful day and we spent the majority of it outside, playing baseball, hunting eggs, hay riding and a lot of staring at the big hole in Great Grandma Brueggemann's yard. She had a plumbing issue and lots of helpers so it worked out to put them to work. We saw the worlds largest worm which I wish I would have gotten a shot of because seriously it was about 12"-15" long and thick. Scary!!
After lunch we headed back to Gma and Gpa B's house and had a scavenger hunt.
They put a lot of work into it complete with a hay maze in the hay loft of the barn(thanks to Uncle Justin) and it was enjoyed by all. Thank you!!
Sunday we spent the day at Sports Fusion (my brother opened it with some partners it is a huge wharehouse full of kids activities, they host b-day parties and individuals, they have a Rock wall, lazer tag, inflateables, Mini Golf, so on and so on) It was a great day and we were all very tired by the time we headed home. Who knew Lazer tag could really take it out of you. Plus I did the Rock wall and come to find out I am a spry little thing, I even beat Alex up the wall and I will tell that story till the day I die, because that means I still got it, or at least that's what I'm telling myself! Happy Easter!

Let the games begin!

See I told you we caught the Easter Bunny and it turns out his name is Buddy and he lives with a girl named Olivia when he is not busy delivering Easter Baskets and hiding eggs.

The scavenger hunt kick off!

Here is the lineup! We played ball for most of the day and had a blast.
Here is just a tip! Mike and the Brueggemann's play hard ball! But at least they play hardball with a "soft" ball or Mason and I would have been doing a lot of crying. I even caught one beamed right into my neck, courtesy of my loving husband!

Taking a break! "Mason those eggs aren't gonna find themselves!"

The final Clue! Can you spot it?
Oh by the way do not be surprised if one of my kids ends up on your roof someday Grandma Martha, they were amazed by that and have asked more than one time how did Justin get out there, how did he get down? I answered them the best way I know how, first I ignored them and then after several times of being asked. I said "Magic". I am such a good mom. I didn't want to give them the road map on how to get out there, plus seriously can they not really figure it out????

A clue which did not rhyme(pointed out by Mike) he has now been enlisted to help next year, because if you're going to make wisecracks then you gotta step up and show us what you got.

The spoiled, enjoying their spoils!

The cousins!

Spider Man!

My idea was to get them when they all reached the top, but this works too!
