Am I alone on this?

I love old houses! I love houses with porches! I love houses with out-buildings! I love houses that have a red barn!

I love houses that have a flat yard with tall trees!

I love this little house!

Everytime I pass it and others like it, my chest aches and I feel happy. It's a confusing emotion. I want, to go, to there! (30 Rock Reference)

This one however really makes me sad, it is abandoned and will probably be torn down. It sits in the flood zone of the chesterfield valley and unless someone buys it for a business it will probably be destroyed. Oh the things we could do together, little darling yellow house!

With a little fresh paint and new walkway, remove the dead plants and trees.

Some rockers or maybe even a porch swing.

It has a sun porch on the back of the house and a little cellar door down into the basement. The little yellow building would be perfect for a playhouse or potting shed(I am not a gardner but I like potting sheds) And can you see it back there, the red building. Mini barn!

I was afraid to go too close, because I believe I was trespassing but...

I could see an old farm sink thru the bottom window. My heart is pounding.

I love you, little red barn. Someone must have lived here not too long ago because there is a newer looking AC unit and I see a cable satelite on the roof.

There are so many houses like this that you see along the highways and roads and I love them all. They are like artwork to me. I want to collect them all.
