Bridging Ceremony

Tonight was Carter's Bridging ceremony from a Brownie to a Jr Girlscout.

They were all very excited and the whole ceremony lasted about 30 minutes.

In total there were 5 Troops of approximately 15 girls.

They walked across a bridge one at a time and changed from their

current vest to their next level vest.

Do you see the symbolism?

It was rich with symbolism.

Now I will confess that I missed the shot on the bridge, she looked over and I missed it!

But does this picture remind anybody else of the scene from the movie Carrie?

I swear every girl that walked across the stage, the thought popped in my head, this is just like the movie Carrie. Only nobody dropped any buckets of anything and the worst thing that happened was that I missed the shot, probably because I was distracted thinking "This looks just like the scene from Carrie"
