The weekend wrap up minus Friday and Sunday

Well my pictures are all out of order and I couldn't upload more than 10 pics
at a time so forgive all the randomness........
Saturday we headed out to the farm.
These cows are like dogs. This is my second experience of feeding the cows people food. They come running like the family dog. And when I say they come running I mean, they look at you and then they hoist themselves up to all fours and then they come hobbling over on their knobby knock kneed legs to see whats cookin'. Seriously though, when they decide to come over and they are within feet of you it is sureal. Some come right up and pursue you and your offerings while others hang back and look skeptical, they really are amazing and seem to each have a personality of their own.

Martha decided that if I was going to take her picture well then by god she was going to make Justin take ours. Cheese!!!! God do we ever ham it up for the camera!
The modern day American Gothic.

Okay this is sad and funny and honestly I did not even realize I caught this but while Mason was opening his present from the Grandparents Brueggemann, he apparently decided to put the sticker off of the package on his lip and then could not get it off.
Poor little guy it started bleading.
...and apparently stung for quite a while after.

Justin was telling me of his new hobby of wine making and then mid story I compulsively reached for my camera because it was a nice shot, being the good sport that he is,
he complied and allowed me to take his picture.

As we pulled up today Justin and Rich were working away on something in the garage.
Turns out they were working on a swing, it was so sweet of them to go to all that trouble.
Justin had to stand up in the scoop(sorry to use such technical terms) of the tractor.
Glad there weren't any OSHA representatives present,
because I am pretty sure he was not wearing a harness.

In our opinion it was worth all the effort! Thanks!

Now what do you suppose she is telling them, because seriously they both look so engrossed.
This is Spike! Spike is very old, I am not sure how old but everytime I see her curled up in the grass napping my heart drops to my stomach because for a moment I think the worst.
She is very special to Justin and I hope she lives forever.
I love this expression on her face, she is so sweet.
She walks all over the farm and keeps the place in order.

And now for a special guest post from one of our most common subjects......
Me! I spilled ice cream on my shirt!
My favorite part of the day was Balloon Races Mason got a balloon kit and we blew em up and had races to see whose stayed up longer Pink Won !

Love it! Such great photos!! I really love the pictures of Carter on the swing- so great! I am seeing a double frame with the swing picture of Mason from GA and that picture of Carter in your house. Perfection.
