Summer Randoms

Summer has been so busy, that I have taken nearly 1,000 pics and have no idea where to start to share. Mason has played tons of baseball and started golf lessons. Carter is doing summer school and enjoying herself. The kids have been playing really well together. We went to the Lake with Martha and Rich and I am sad that I hardly took any pictures, the ones I did take did not turn out great. The weather was hot but it was sunny and beautiful and we had a great time. They were very easy to live with and more importantly they put up with us.
I even attempted skiing and I actually got up, not too bad for an old timer. Martha has pics of that if anyone needs proof. So like I said I have tons of pics so I just picked some that seem to sum our summer so far.....
Hanging with the cousins. Telling tall tales!

Synchronized Swimming???

This "pool" is actually the landing pad to a slip and slide ramp.

It cracks me up, that they have been perfectly happy with it.

They look like a Yin and Yang here.

Water Balloons are a summer staple around here.

Cousin Rachel makes a rare appearance. They alway pick right up where they left off, and it makes me remember my days with my cousins, some of my favorite memories.

Speaking of which we went to one of my cousins' (Tony's) daughter (Stephanie's) graduation parties it was fun to see everyone and it was the first time in a long time that all the Jarvis siblings were together. Here they are from left to right. Judy, Denny, Sharon, Greg, Nancy.

Um what is this? How did this get in here?
Okay, I admit it. We are the coolest parents on the planet! Guilty!

We bought our kids a ferret. She is now after much deliberation named JuJu (for July) when we brought her home.

But seriously, how cute is this?

To have and to hold

and scamper and scurry

Her little baby! from this day forward or for the next 5-8 years. (Life expectancy)

When she is awake it is go go go, but when it is out, it's out!

This is the beginning of the Grand Finale out at St. Albans. One of my favorite things about fireworks displays is that my kids continually guess at the beginning of the grand finale. You will hear "Grand Finale" like 20-30 times before the real deal.

Happy summer!
