It's been a few weeks since I updated this. Not a lot to report. Mike had some quality time with the kids friday night, while I went to an Uppercase Living party. Then early morning Saturday for Soccer pictures for Mason. It was a scorcher very very muggy by the time his actual game at 2:30 started. It was the first game of the season and he seemed to enjoy it. He really likes to play the goalie position. He does seem to really enjoy every activity he has done and is always asking to do more. So far we have kind of got it narrowed down to 3 seasons of sports and then maybe as he gets older he'll pick one that he wants to focus on. Summer - Baseball - Fall - Soccer - Winter - Basketball. He says he wants to try Football but he is still too young for any of the leagues around here. So that is just fine with me! Below are some pics of him in action(if you can pick him out). Saturday night we met up with Aunt Michelle and Craig and went to the Loop to Fitz's. Sunday was spent listening the wild wind storm for the early hours of the morning. Lots of computer time for Carter and a little bit of rollerblade hockey for Mason in the basement. He is just on his 3rd day of really trying to rollerblade and he is really getting the hang of it. Carter has also tried for a couple of days on her roller skates and is improving also.

That's him on the far end

Running Man

He just kicked the ball

Last weekend Mike was out of town and the kids and I were on our own. Friday night we went bowling with some neighbors and the kids suggested that we "after party" with them. Which we did until 11:00 (wild and crazy) Saturday Morning Mimi came over and played with the kids. Her and Mason hunted bugs in the back yard and then built some awesome lincoln log creations. Carter played on the computer (are you seeing a pattern here?) Saturday night we went with Grandma Martha and Grampa Rich and Uncle Justin to Dave and Busters to have a group birthday celebration. First we stopped and picked up Justin at his dorm and got to scope it out. It was very nice, but I am sure he will be glad to be done with dorm life though as he is planning to graduate this winter. The kids had a great time at Dave and Busters and Uncle Justin was a big help and very patient with us as we ran in a million directions. It was another late night (partly due to the tremendously difficult decision on what to spend their tickets on from the gift shop)'The kids were exhausted and fell asleep on the car ride home.

Thank you so much G-Ma & G-Pa Brueggemann!

Sunday Mike got back and we went over to Mimi and Grandpas to have dinner with Jeff and Kelly and the cousins. It was nice to let the kids play together for a while. The cousins are getting older and have pretty busy schedules.

Mason could not reach the pedal!

Love the pictures! The pics of each little group at the table- Justin and Mason seem to have the same crazed expression! Too funny...
