What a busy/fun weekend we had! We kicked off the weekend with a visit from Uncle Justin, he came out to our neck of the woods and joined the kids and I for a little dinner and some homework. We went out to eat of course as my cupboards were bare. Friday night Mikes brother Scott and his wife Erin, drove in from Kansas City and we met up with them at Michelle's house to head to the Forest Park Balloon glow. We decided to try the Metro Link in order to avoid parking issues and it was kind of exciting for the kids. They are really getting some city culture these past few weeks. The balloon glow was really amazing, and really crowded.
Saturday night was the kids Movie Night at school. I helped out with the concession stands while Mike, Scott and Erin sat with the kids through the movie "College Road Trip". I think I had the better end of the deal. Mimi and Grandpa met us back at the house to baby sit for us so we could go out and have a little well deserved adult time with our visitors. Yeah! Thanks Mimi and Grandpa!
